Bristol Homeless Action Week Launch Event

Monday 13th May

The Kitchen, Silver Street

At 10:00 on Monday 13th May, Bristol Homeless Action Week 2019 will be kicking off with the opening of Ken Abbott’s Volunteers photography exhibition and our Lived Experience artwork exhibition.

Come to the Kitchen café, Silver Street, Bristol to grab a coffee, browse the photography and artwork exhibitions and find out more about Bristol’s volunteering community, as well as how you can get involved.

From 10:00 to 12:00 we’ll also be holding our first charity drop-in session, with Bristol Community Health and St Mungo’s. For more information about the drop-in sessions, click here.

As well as information about events we have going on throughout the week and how to get involved, the evening will also be a chance to see for the first time the two exhibitions we have going on at The Kitchen throughout Homeless Action Week;

A photography exhibition created by local photographer Ken Abbott, about Bristol’s homelessness charities, demonstrating the work done by local volunteers.

An art exhibition created by artists with lived experience of homelessness, including paintings, drawings and poems.
